Sandqvist x Podsol
Discover our latest collaboration with the mystic fly fishing collective Podsol. Founded by adventurer and fly fishing filmmaker Rolf Nylinder, the arctic businessman Markus Lemke and Kristian Mattson who might be more known for his artistic pseudonym - Tallest Man On Earth. With roots from above the arctic circle, Podsol is pioneering a new foundation for the fly fishing industry. Through the passion for nature, and quality goods they got to know the founders of Sandqvist and decided to join hands in a small capsule collection.

The collection consists of two bags, the backpack Baetis (30L) and Rhodani (2L). The design of the Bateis backpack is based on the Sandqvist classic Bernt and has been modified to fit the needs of a fly fisher. For example, practical features such as compression straps on each side for rod tubes, a leather floatant holder and a leather tippet spool holder. To keep your delicate items safe, the bag comes with a removable dry bag with shoulder strap. The Rhodani bag is inspired by the Douglas bag from Sandqvist’s Urban Outdoor series. With its practical pockets combined with heritage details makes this bag the perfect companion to be worn on its own, attached to the Baetis rolltop backpack or clipped on to your wading belt. Both bags are made using 100% recycled, heavy duty, water resistant polyester.
